The player pictures have been designed as a tribute to Panini football stickers from 1978; the year football sticker collections and albums became a UK phenomenon. Panini have had albums for everything from Star Wars to Action Man and they list their current favourites as The Simpsons, The Champions League and the Scottish Premier League. Scotland’s SPL isn’t rated the best domestic league in Europe by many measures these days so let’s bask in our sticky Panini footballing glory.
